The Nightmare
The story follows a Veteran grappling with the lingering effects of sleep paralysis, awake, aware, and trapped inside his own body while sensing something unnatural in the room. This psychological horror short story was created to shed light on the challenges faced by many Veterans, including myself, who struggle with PTSD, sleep paralysis, and the unseen battles that can stay with a person long after their service.
